Regardless of she's taking an extended break or not, she'll be on a shelf for a while as Rousey is heading for surgery to fix her broken hand on Tuesday as per Fightful.

The injury came after the former UFC star was pinned down by Becky Lynch in a fight for both the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships.

You can check out her official Instagram post below.

"And WWE will welcome her with open arms". The publication also reported Rousey broke her hand during her main event match with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair and would likely have had to miss some time anyway. Sapp's report also claims that WWE are hopeful The Baddest Woman On The Planet will return to the company "either later this year or next year but Rousey has given WWE no clear indication of her next move".

"I've not kept it a secret that I would definitely want to start a family", Rousey said. I do think that say next year, [if] there isn't as an intriguing story, no the women should not main event. Be sure to subscribe on iTunes, Spotify or wherever you get podcasts.

She continued, "I've never had a baby before, I don't know these kinds of things". It would be kind of cool to just keep acting and then one day, 'Hey, surprise twist, I'm pregnant.' .

We will have to wait and see what WWE does with her titles because the decision is not up to her. There were rumours she would leave WWE following Wrestlemania 35 in order to start a family. The Man handed Rousey her first loss by pinfall in controversial fashion and painted a huge target on her back in the process.
