Many draft experts believe the Cardinals will select Oklahoma quarterback and Heisman Trophy victor Kyler Murray with the No. 1 pick in the draft, which will begin Thursday, April 25.

Brugler projects former Dawgs Isaac Nauta, Jonathan Ledbetter, Elijah Holyfield and Terry Godwin to all be taken throughout the later rounds of the draft.

Now, that might not be as certain. "First one to show up, engaging, into it, very sharp".

Kyler Murray will not be visiting with Washington ahead of this month's NFL Draft.

If Murray gets past the Cardinals, the Giants may have an opportunity to land him.

Originally, Murray was drafted ninth overall by the Oakland Athletics in the 2018 MLB Amateur Draft and signed a $4.33 million contract with the club. They hosted the Heisman Trophy victor on a top-30 visit over the weekend. Look no further than the 2017 move from No. 2 to No. 3 overall with the Chicago Bears, which ended with the Niners getting the player they wanted in the first place, defensive end Solomon Thomas. Jay Gruden said the team would do their due diligence, and they've done just that, hosting quarterbacks such as Drew Lock, Daniel Jones, Dwayne Haskins, Will Grier, Jarrett Stidham, and Clayton Thorson on visits.

If Gettleman and the Giants are targeting Murray or believe he can be a franchise quarterback, the Jets would be an obvious trade partner.

So, why have the Cardinals not yet made a decision on the No. 1 pick? "I like to do deals", Keim said.

Lynch and the 49ers have a history of trading back.

It remains to be seen if Murray fits the profile of passer that Gettleman and the Giants prefer, but if he does, the events of the past week suggest that they could have a legitimate chance come away with him as the crown jewel of their draft class.
