Sreesanth celebrates his lifetime ban life on playing cricket, his co Big Boss 12 Contestants like Deepak Thakur, Jasleen Matharu and others wish him.

Fans of S Sreesanth are all in a state of ecstasy after Supreme Court ordered the BCCI to cancel the life ban of Sreesanth for his alleged involvement in the match-fixing scandal. "It's a huge relief". I am very happy with the Supreme Court decision.

"BCCI's disciplinary committee may reconsider quantum of punishment to be given to S Sreesanth within 3 months", the Supreme Court said. I have been keeping myself fit and practising regularly.

Speaking to media after the release to the decision in his favour, Sreesanth said, "I don't know what life has in store for me after all these years".

The top court though maintained that he is guilty of betting/match-fixing.

The criminal proceedings pending against the former cricketer in the Delhi High Court should not be affected by this verdict, where the Delhi Police has challenged a trial court's order discharging all accused, including Sreesanth, in the IPL spot-fixing case, the court added.

The former fast-bowler had been banned for his involvement in spot-fixing during the Indian Premier League 2013.

Sreesanth then approached the Kerala High Court seeking that the ban on him be lifted. Later, the division bench of the high court had restored the ban on a petition filed by the BCCI against the single-judge bench's order.

On May 15, 2018, BCCI opposed the plea by Sreesanth seeking a relaxation of the ban to allow him to play in county cricket in England.
