  • Apple's 2017 iPad Pro 10.5 and 12.9 are on sale at up to 22 percent off

Just days after Apple confirmed its March 25th "show time" event by sending out invites to members of the press, a new Bloomberg report helps to shed light on Apple's short-term plans for its TV service.

Apple's tagline was also used in 2006 to launch its Apple TV service and movies on iTunes.

The company will also lift the covers off of its highly-anticipated streaming video service, which, like Apple News, is also set to come with a monthly subscription model and will likely immediately go head-to-head with established streaming services, such as Netflix.

The short clip ends with the famous Apple logo and the words "It's show time". The event will be at 10:00 AM Pacific, 1:00 PM Eastern, so mark your calendars.

Apple is gearing up to launch a new 10.2-inch seventh-generation iPad, as well as a non-Pro 10.5-inch iPad, according to a new leak.

In its invitation, Apple did not specify the focus of the event and gave a single-line description: "It's show time".

Rumors suggest that Apple will pitch its video and magazine services as separate entities with separate prices, but it could offer a bundle that offers, say, both services and an Apple Music sub at a cheaper price.

Apple acquired the digital magazine app Texture previous year, which enables you to read a huge number of publications for a single monthly fee, a bit like a music streaming service. Further, neither of the popular media services likely feel that they need Apple to attract or retain subscribers. It seems like this will be relaunched as part of the News subscription, similar to how Beats Music was the basis for Apple Music.
