  • The Division 2 Open Beta Confirmed

An open beta for The Division 2 was all but confirmed by during an official livestream over the weekend.

The Division 2's private beta, which just wrapped up this morning, has seen a considerable drop in viewer interest on Twitch compared to the first game's beta. This trial period will be available across all of the game's platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Did you get the opportunity to run around D.C. this weekend?

As for us here at DualShockers, we've been able to go hands-on with The Division 2 quite frequently the past few months and have come away generally positive from all of our play sessions. However, the real highlight had to be The Division 2's endgame with three all-new specializations and a high-level mission. However, one host inadvertently spilled the beans on an open beta test. The game is being developed by Ubisoft Massive and will be published by Ubisoft.

In answering questions about rewards gained from the beta, the Twitter account mentioned not only the open beta but also that rewards can be gained by participating in either the closed or open betas. The Division 2 itself will launch on 15 March, so chances are that the open beta session will be held very soon.
