Jay-Z is showing his support for a rapper in a big way.

As TMZ first reported, citing police reports related to the February 3 traffic stop in Atlanta, the Grammy-nominated artist, born in England with the given name Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was behind the wheel of a red dodge Challenge when he came close to crashing into a marked cop auto.

Jay-Z has hired an attorney to help 21 Savage, so he does not get deported to the United Kingdom, as he also slammed the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). News. "In addition to being a successful recording artist, 21 deserves to be reunited with his children immediately #Free21Savage". Brian Steel, 21's lawyer, clarified that neither the gun or the vehicle he was driving in belonged to the "A Lot" rapper.

"We are not going to stop until he is released, bonded out or in front of a judge", he told TMZ.

And now, days later, the rapper is addressing his deportation through his legal team.

Fox 5 Atlanta News is reporting that 21 Savage was arrested this weekend in Atlanta and he's been taken into custody by ICE with the intent for possible removal from the U.S.

However, that expired the following year "through no fault" of the rapper. This is a civil law violation, and the continued detention of Mr. Abraham-Joseph serves no other goal than to unnecessarily punish him and try to intimidate him into giving up his right to fight to remain in the United States.

21 Savage is going on the record for the first time, through his reps, and revealing the timeline of his worldwide travels, claiming he has actually been in the United States since the age of 7. "These "Dreamers" come from all walks of life and every ethnicity". However, a source at ATF claims ICE was there, but is not listed on the report.

Abraham-Joseph's lawyers describe him as a "role model" who helps underprivileged youth, and argue the drug crime he was convicted of was removed from his record in 2018.
