  • A Florida man caught on police dashcam danced his way through a field sobriety test. Needless to say he did not pass

In a telephone interview, Larson said he would not call his actions during the test "dancing" and declined further comment, the station reported.

Police arrested a man for DUI in Holiday, Florida on February 6 after they say he danced during his field sobriety test and told police he believed he was driving in a different city.

According to authorities, Larson also thought he was in a different city.

When asked to walk a straight line, Larson begins side-stepping and bouncing in the manner of a man who is unaware he is about to be taken to jail.

After the Sheriff's deputies woke him up, Larson got out of the vehicle, which rolled forward and narrowly missed one of the officers.

Then, he appears to raise one arm and lower it across his body, just like John Travolta's Tony Manero character in the 1970s classic, Saturday Night Fever.

At one point in the tests, Larson was instructed to walk heel-to-toe across a piece of tape stretched out on the ground.

Larson was being investigated because a deputy saw a parked vehicle with its engine running and the driver apparently asleep in the driver's seat, the sheriff's office told Tampa Bay area television station WTVT-Fox 13.

The deputy stopped the vehicle from hitting a gate by jumping in, himself, he said.

At that time, Larson seemed disorientated and waved to the police officer, the arrest report says.

Deputies had Larson perform a field sobriety test, but he appeared disoriented and didn't follow directions.
