Whether or not switching from Kassandra to Alexios when starting a new game, or vice versa, will have any effect on this, we can't say.

Ubisoft has sparked some hope for the fans of Assassin's Creed 3 on Nintendo Switch by listing the remaster for Nintendo's latest platform on its official site. Those with the Assassin's Creed Odyssey season pass will get the game for free.

It seems as though previous rumors surrounding Assassin's Creed 3's remaster hitting the Switch are so far unfounded.

It's a pretty good deal, to be fair. The company has announced the remastered game for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Ubisoft noted that the remastered version of the title would be running on a new graphics engine, would pack higher-quality textures as well as support for 4K HDR gameplay to cope with the improvements introduced on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 family of consoles.

If you're keen on getting back to assassinating the bad guys with flourish and flair, you'll be able to pick up Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered on March 29, 2019.

Presumably, this will function much like other New Game Plus modes, allowing players to restart the game but with all of their accumulated equipment and abilities. The tweet also has an announcement trailer which gives you some glimpse of the game. Additionally, it is seemingly scheduled to release on the same day as its counterparts on March 29.

In addition to its bundle with Liberation, the remastered release will also feature all post-release content, including the Tyranny of King Washington DLC.
