The film is a Bollywood production called Kesari, and it stars Akshay Kumar, the antagonist of 2.0 in the lead.

Kesari's new poster was shared by Akshay Kumar on social media which portrays him as the courageous warrior all set to go into battle against 10,000 Afghans.


Kesari will release on March 21. The first glimpse of Kesari opens on an army of soldiers running around and they gather around a fort. The battle is said to be one of the bravest battles ever fought in which only 21 Sikh soldiers fought against 10,000 Afghan tribesman.

In the poster, we see Akshay as Havildar Ishar Singh standing all alone against 10,000 Afghans. "Presenting the first one from the glimpses of Kesari", Akshay wrote while sharing the video. The movie starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra is all about the Battle of Saragarhi which was fought in the year 1897. Along with the post, he also shared that the team will share the glimpses from the film later in the day. The movie is directed by acclaimed Punjabi director Anurag Singh and produced by Karan Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Sunir Khetarpal. Akshay also revealed that the trailer of the movie will be released on February 21.
