  • CAPCOM's Resident Evil 2 Time Limited Demo is Now Available

This slice of the game has you play as everyone's favourite rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy as he takes his first steps into the zombie-riddled Raccoon City police station.

Resident Evil 2 drops on January 25, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. It's been confirmed that you can die in the demo and still continue - the only limitation is that 30 minute clock.

Resident Evil 2 for the PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC is a complete remake of the 1998 classic that originally released on the PS1.

YouTube's "Cycu1" has released a comparison video between the Remake and the Original versions of Resident Evil 2. Note: this demo is available until 1/31/2019.

The demo is 7.02 GB on the Xbox One, and you can download it using the links above. As of this writing, though, we have heard rumors that you can replay the demo by launching the demo on a separate account.

It was recently revealed that the Resident Evil 2 Remake demo has an interesting gimmick attached. You won't be able to play the demo again once the time has expired, but you can view the trailer as much as you'd like.

At the end of the demo, regardless of whether or not you successfully complete it, you'll be treated to an exclusive cinematic trailer.

In the run up to the launch of the demo, Capcom has released a selection of tips and tricks to get you through.

You should also check your inventory often, with time stopping when you're in the menu screens.
