The plate of Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex (no, not her commemorative wedding china, I mean her metaphorical life plate), is now pretty full.

The outlet reports that Markle is set to take over as patron and the monarch is supportive because of her growing confidence in the duchess.

Meghan Markle may be trading in her title as the Duchess of Sussex for the name Rachel Zane, NBC Universal reportedly offering the new royal a multi-million dollar donation to charity for her to briefly reprise her role on Suits. Instead, it's thought that Meghan, a proud supporter of a selection of good causes, may be tempted by the chance to donate a multi-million dollar check to charities of her choice.

'I've heard sums ranging from two to six million being kicked around'.

Meghan starred as paralegal Rachel Zane in Suits from 2010 until her last episode was aired in April 2018, a month before her wedding at Windsor Castle.

An NBC source added, "We could be done in half a day or less".

The duchess left the show to focus on charity projects and become a fully integrated member of the royal family, who are required to keep their social lives private and are generally not permitted to have social media accounts.

When it comes to re-casting a Duchess in your drama, you don't get a whole lot for your money, either.

The episode will feature Rachel's life after her marriage to boyfriend Mike Ross and mirror real-life by showing Rachel pregnant and happy living in the United Kingdom with Mike. Now, just where do you suppose they ever pull such an inspired, unlikely storyline from?

If we're being honest about this scenario, it's frankly unlikely to ever happen-however incredible it would be.

In fact, Royal author Katie Nicholl said, "William was quite concerned that the relationship had moved so quickly and being close to Harry, probably the only person close enough to say to Harry 'this seems to be moving quickly, are you sure?' And I think what was meant as well intended brotherly advice just riled Harry".
