The police investigation was reopened at Ms Mayorga's request last August, shortly before the former model and schoolteacher filed a civil lawsuit in state court claiming that Ronaldo raped her and that she had been paid 375,000 U.S. dollars to keep it secret. The warrant would instruct Italian authorities to deliver the sample to Las Vegas and allow local police to determine whether the DNA in question is Ronaldo's.

Authorities have reportedly obtained the accuser Kathryn Mayorga's dress from the alleged incident and are now looking to see if Ronaldo's DNA is a match.

Juventus striker, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to submit DNA as part of the police investigation into his Las Vegas rape case.

Ms Mayorga signed a non-disclosure contract for $375k a year later but has now waived her right to anonymity to bring about the action.

Mr. Chistiansen reportely declined to comment on the new developments in the probe.

The Juventus player has consistently denied any wrongdoing, saying in December that he was "calm" and "very confident that soon everything will be clear".

While the five-time Ballon d'Or victor has firmly denied the allegations, branding it "fake news", Mayorga's lawyers are now seeking to declare the reported non-disclosure agreement void.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Aden Ocampo-Gomez said in October that in 2009 Mayorga made a complaint but did not provide an assailant's name or the location of the alleged assault. Mayorga filed a police report at the time, and claims that she later accepted a $375,000 payment in exchange for dropping the charge. The documents which purportedly contain statements by Mr. Ronaldo and have been reported in the media are complete fabrications.

English model Jasmine Lennard, left, has delivered more ugly allegations against Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to her lawsuit, Mayorga reported the assault to police later that day and received a medical examination.
