The first film to hit the screens is Gully Boy, in which she co-stars with Ranveer Singh and in the other is Brahmastra, her film with rumoured boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. The trailer starts with Ranveer Singh walking out dejected from a rappers' face-off and slowly unfolds his struggle to achieve his dream, which is to become a renowned rapper. The supporting cast includes Vijay Verma and Kalki Koechlin. While he has had a brush with rap in the past in his film Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, he did proper training to understand nuance of it. I am thankful that she exists. It is about my city Mumbai and my lovely person Zoya Akhtar.

"This film's producer Ritesh is like family to me".

"I really don't know what to say about Alia (Bhatt)".

Ranbir confirmed his relationship with Alia in May a year ago.

When Zoya was asked how she managed to work with him in the film, she said: "He is a method actor". The film is based on the life of underground rappers from Mumbai - Divine and Naezy (Naved Shaikh).

Gully Boy is slated for release February 14.
