Morgan, one of the most accurate shooters in the Big Ten at 67.6 percent from the field, but is shooting 4 of 12 at halftime.

When Morgan and Langford were in foul trouble early in the first half, the Wolverines took advantage and gained control of the game for good.

Michigan, who led by 15 points the majority of the game, took down the Hoosiers 74-63 on Sunday.

Miller said all three players entered the game ready to play and did their part for the team, but he wished they made a larger offensive imprint. The Wolverines' ball-handlers got into the lane nearly at will and then scored mostly uncontested at the rim or kicked to wide-open 3-point shooters.

Langford leads the Hoosiers (12-2, 3-0) in scoring at 17.5 points per game and is coming off a career-high 28 points in a 73-65 win over IL on Thursday.

The Michigan sharpshooting duo of senior guard Charles Matthews and sophomore guard Jordan Poole almost outscored IU in the first half, as the pair scored 28 points while IU had 29 at the break.

"We set the tone and we got their two big guys in foul trouble", MI coach John Beilein said.

MI jumped out to a 23-9 lead in the game and led 44-29 at halftime.

Miller lamented his team getting off to another poor start.

With that said, though, it would take an incredibly impressive performance by IN to pull out the upset win on the road.

It didn't help the Hoosiers that both Romeo Langford and Juwan Morgan each picked up two fouls in the game's opening minutes and had to go to the bench for significant stretches.

The Hoosiers were missing freshmen Rob Phinisee, Jake Forrester, Race Thompson and Jerome Hunter for Sunday's game, along with junior forward De'Ron Davis, who informed Miller after warm-ups he could not play due to an ankle injury.

"If we play defense like we did (on Thursday), we will have a chance", MI coach John Beilein said.

"I just have to be smarter", Morgan said.
