A Facebook post from the Barron County Sheriff's Department says the investigation is not related to Jayme Closs, the teen missing from Barron County. He'd been confident that Closs was alive somewhere. "We all love you to the moon and back and we will never stop looking for you", she said.

"Tonight, we actually got false news again this afternoon and I really had my hopes up then", Sue Allard said. Smith told KSTP the family wants justice for her sister and brother-in-law who were murdered.

We are planning a press briefing approximately 10 am tomorrow at the Sheriff's Department in Barron.

Police are not releasing much information, just that the investigation led them to a farmhouse in East Troy.

"We thank everyone all around for their help", Smith said.

Fitzgerald had previously said he plans to update the media on January 15 about new partners and an expanded team that's working to find her.

The sheriff's office plans to hold a news conference Friday morning to discuss the case.

'We want to thank the Douglas Co Sheriff's Department and agencies assisting them tonight.

"Finally we want to especially thank the family for their support and patience while this case was ongoing", The department posted on Facebook.

A 13-year-old girl who has been missing since mid-October has been found alive, police in Wisconsin confirmed.

Barron Mayor Ron Fladten says he hasn't heard any details about Jayme's discovery but says knowing she's been found is "unbelievable".

The following Wednesday, the deaths of James and Denise Closs were officially ruled as homicide by a medical examiner.

She has not been seen since October.

More attempts were made, but the phone went unanswered. When police arrived at the family home, they found the bodies of Denise and her 56-year-old husband, James Closs - but no sign of Jayme.

Closs disappeared October 15, 2018, the same day her parents - James and Denise Closs - were found shot to death inside their Barron home. A search was being organized to find the couple's missing daughter. Half the reward was put up by Jennie-O Turkey Store, a turkey hatchery and processing plant in Barron where Jayme's parents worked.
