The Foo Fighters have had a bumpy beginning to 2019 as frontman Dave Grohl fell off the stage after chugging a can of beer at a show in Las Vegas.

In a video posted to Instagram by a concert attendee, Grohl can be seen walking to the side of the stage while continuing to play the guitar.

Grohl tries to position the beer on a speaker so that he can attempt to drink it while his hands are occupied on his guitar.

The Foo Fighters deliver wonderful performances when they perform live - getting fully into it, mixing it up with great cover songs and giving 110 percent on stage. After he had spilled a part of the box on a speaker, he seemed to drink the Rest of the content in a train.

Grohl told radio station KLOS-FM he knocks back four beers and a handful of shots backstage as he waits to make his grand entrance with his bandmates. The Security men helped him immediately back to the top, where he could apparently unharmed to continue playing.

It is not the first time the flamboyant musician has taken a tumble: he fell and broke his leg during a gig in Gothenburg in 2015, and then appeared to do the same, in the same city, earlier this year.
