Chrissy Metz Denies Calling Alison Brie a 'B***h' at the Golden Globes

"Just asked Alison Brie about this", she wrote, in reference to one of the articles.

Metz quickly denied insulting Brie as well.

"While interviewing Chrissy during the HFPA Presents: Globes Red Carpet LIVE pre-show and as our conversation came to its natural conclusion, we were told to wrap and toss over to our co-hosts on another portion of the carpet, who were on standby with Alison Brie".

"I get a perm every season for Glow and then it's teased to death when we're shooting and I'm playing Zoya the Destroya", she said. Metz posted. "I adore Alison and would never say a bad word about her, or anyone! I know you. It's just a rumour", she allegedly replied. As the cameras cut to the GLOW star, Metz can be heard saying "she's such a b-", leading some to believe the word she said as the audio cut out was "bitch".

Metz added that Brie is "somebody that I really revere" and shared that she and Brie had "already texted about" the gossip.

"We only follow each other on Instagram", she said, "and I don't want to ruin her night".

Brie has yet to respond.

People were immediately questioning the clip as it sounds like Metz more likely called her a "babe".

According to Vanity Fair, their Golden Globes reporter Nicole Sperling mentioned the incident to Brie.

"I don't speak about anyone like that I don't speak like that. I saw her on the carpet and I told her how handsome she looked", Brie said. After hearing about the rumor during the ceremony also, Metz tweeted a denial in response to an "Us Weekly" article that has since been removed. Brie recently shared a picture of the two together at the SAG Awards previous year on her Instagram Story, writing, "Nothing but love for @chrissymetz!" Cheers to Metz and Brie, you're an inspiration!
