Chelsea question Bayern Munich's move for Callum Hudson-Odoi?

  • Callum Hudson Odoi started Tuesday's Carabao Cup semi-final first leg at Wembley

The Spaniard said of an exciting club colleague: "He is a good player, but he is very young".

Hudson-Odoi started at Wembley in midweek, but has made just one Premier League appearance all season.

With Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery coming towards the end of their time in Germany, Bayern are on the lookout for replacements and have identified Hudson-Odoi as a prime target.

'It's not easy getting in the first team at clubs of this size and I think it is, at the moment, all credit to Callum with so much going on around him at such a young age to be going out on the pitch and putting in the performances.

Despite starting Chelsea's last two cup matches, Hudson-Odoi has struggled for regular game-time.

Maurizio Sarri has revealed that Chelsea FC starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi has been acting "very normal" despite the transfer speculation surrounding the teenager's future at Stamford Bridge.

"Of course, he asked me about Germany", Rudiger told the media after Chelsea's 1-0 loss to Tottenham on Tuesday night.

Hudson-Odoi's contract expires in June 2020 and, as long as he remains unwilling to discuss an extension, Chelsea are mindful that his value will likely decrease significantly if he is kept at Stamford Bridge until the summer. "For his future, I wish him all the best but I just wish he stays with us". The Argentine is now on loan at AC Milan, but the London club want to sign him this January. "Where it is? I hope it will be here".

'It is [a compliment] and I don't think anyone would be surprised, ' he said. "I won't it to go well for them on a personal level, but I also want them with me". "He has all the tools to become a big player, but he has to work a lot".
