Smash Bros. Ultimate's newest DLC fighter is Persona 5's Joker

Smash Ultimate 's director, Masahiro Sakurai already revealed that the DLC characters for the upcoming Switch title has been decided on already so it's likely that the rest of the fighters are already in development. Ultimate - but there's no sign of Metroid Prime 4.

Surprised? Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime says that's the plan. Sadly, Nintendo didn't have anything else to reveal about the new character - no in game footage, no screenshots and no hints.

When we heard that Super Smash Bros. In total, there are five packs planned for Ultimate that can be purchased in a single transaction known as the Fighters Pass bundle.

For the time being, however, Persona fans have been going insane over the news that Joker is Smash bound. The quirky new fighter is set to release sometime in February. The first is Piranha Plant, but there's more to getting this character then just putting in your credit card number.

When he is out though the DLC will cost £5.39 and will contain the new fighter plus a new themed stage and music.
