Obsidian Unveils The Outer Worlds

The latest Obsidian game is The Outer Worlds, as revealed at the Game Awards 2018.

From the original creators of Fallout, Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, comes a new single-player RPG we're supremely keen to jump into.

The game is set on a colonised planet far out in the galaxy. A first-person shooter in a terrible universe that has seen capitalism run amok and infect numerous other planets, The Outer Worlds mixes the harsh materialism of society with a somewhat amusing look at the future. That relatively wholesome tweet simply reads "Hello, world!" and features two stills from the game's trailer, which debuted last night. The Outer Worlds is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2019. In it, you are a part of a colonist ship heading to the far reaches of outer space.

For the unaware, this game is being developed by the same folks who created Fallout: New Vegas, as well as Fallout 1 & 2 (in other words, all the non-Bethesda Fallouts). What do you guys think of Obsidian's Outer Worlds trailer?
