Sean 'P Diddy' Combs' former partner, Kim Porter, found dead

TMZ said a source connected to Porter told them she'd been suffering flu-like symptoms, and possibly pneumonia, for several weeks, while another source said she had contacted her doctor just yesterday complaining she wasn't feeling any better.

"I mean, you have to start to treat your family like a tribe if you have other mothers of your children", Diddy told Power 105's The Breakfast Club.

A rep for Diddy did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.


The pair began dating in 1994 and were on-and-off until their final breakup in 2007.

Porter has maintained a close relationship with Diddy over the years. "He still calls me everyday and we talk".

Porter and Diddy had three children together. She graduated high school in 1988 and moved to Atlanta, where she met singer Al B. Sure. She later dived into acting with respectable roles on shows like Law & Order and Wicked Wicked as well as films like Games, The Brothers and Mama, I Want to Sing. She attended Diddy's annual Halloween party this year, going dressed as legendary hip-hop group Run-D.M.C. with daughters Jessie James and D'Lila.

The whole family was last together, in public, supporting Quincy at last month's premiere for his movie, "The Holiday Calendar".
