"She played a pivotal role in the success of the Royal Wedding and will be missed by everyone in the Royal Household".

According to the Daily Mail, Meghan Markle's personal assistant has quit only six months after her wedding to Prince Harry, which came as "a real shock" according to a source.

The royal blog Gert's Royals, shared that Claudia Spens, who is head of the Correspondence Section at Clarence House has been sending thank you cards to those who sent the Duke and Duchess of Sussex well wishes for their nuptials back in May.

Why would she want to leave such a prestigious job so soon?' Meghan is also expected to join the Queen to view the service from the balcony of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office building as per tradition.

Meghan originally wanted to wear a tiara adorned with emeralds, but unfortunately it was nixed because no one had known where it had come from.

Meghan ultimately decided on a diamond and platinum bandeau tiara with Harry and the Queen, and called it "an incredibly surreal day".

"I asked him to and I think he knew it was coming, and he immediately said 'Yes, of course, I'll do whatever Meghan needs and I'm here to support you, '" he said. "She gets the tiara she's given by me".

Royal biographer Robert Jobson claims in his new book, Charles At Seventy, which was serialised in this newspaper, that Meghan's wedding preparations were so stressful that Harry became "petulant and short-tempered" with members of staff.

Other members of Meghan's staff include Amy Pickerill, her Assistant Private Secretary, someone who's worked with her since the engagement was announced last November; and Samantha Cohen, who is acting as hers and Harry's Private Secretary until a permanent replacement for Edward Lane Fox - who left his position in the summer - can be found.

"Harry added, "[It's] every girl's dream to be able to try on a tiara and funnily enough, [that was] the one that suited the best.

According to a story in The Sun, the Queen and Meghan got into a mjor row before the wedding.
