There has been endless controversy surrounding WWE Crown Jewel, but after it once looking like the event would not take place, it will officially go down Friday afternoon from King Saud Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Big-name wrestlers such as Daniel Bryan and John Cena have refused to attend following the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi embassy in Turkey.

Shortly after returning to action this April, Bryan competed at the Greatest Royal Rumble event (also held in Saudi Arabia) like everyone else on the roster.

But it is legend Hogan's comeback that will attract most attention.

The live streaming of WWE Crown Jewel event will be available on Sony Liv app and WWE app. After all he was suspended from WWE after several racial slurs were caught on audio during that sex tape fiasco he dealt with.

It was recently revealed that Renee Young would be traveling to Saudi Arabia in order to do her announcer duties (this is notable since women can't compete on the show), but more details have come out that show that she isn't being treated like her male coworkers. "It's exciting to have this opportunity again after all these years where I was there and gone".

"Hogan should not have been brought back to the company ever", Traina wrote.

Bigger! Badder! And usually with an event logo connecting the event to its host city, like the NY skyline or the fleur-de-lis for New Orleans incorporated into recent WrestleMania designs. The shows are part of a lucrative 10-year partnership between WWE and the Saudi General Sports Authority in support of Saudi Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia's social and economic reform program.
