The update comes just after TMZ published the first post-rehab photos of the star dining at an LA sushi restaurant with clothing designer Henry Levy.

It is unclear whether Lovato has been permanently checked out of rehab or merely took a short break from the facility three months after she was admitted following a drug overdose.

It's been months since we heard from Demi Lovato, who suffered a reported overdose back in July and entered a rehab facility shortly later.

According to a source cited by the publication, "Demi looked great and so happy to be out".

News of her outings come a week after Lovato's mother, Dianna De La Garza, said on a radio show on October 26 that her daughter was 90 days sober.

It's also believed the singer was at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights on Friday night.

"She has (been sober for) 90 days and I couldn't be more thankful or more proud of her because addiction being a disease, it's work", De La Garza, 56, said. "I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery", she wrote in the message posted to Instagram. She seemed happy and healthy. "She was very relaxed and at ease".
