After beating Mourinho's Manchester United side 3-1 at Etihad Stadium, Manchester City remain the leader of the Premier League and confirmed their dominance in the division and in the city.

Their one and two touch football is a joy to watch, and United had no answer for it.

"Despite that, we were stable, we score one goal, the first 15 minutes was so good and after that we didn't press so well".

Just to prove that there was little of the flair on show from their rivals United only carved out one shot on target in the whole game and that was the penalty Anthony Martial scored from.

This is not the first time Walker has left fans in stitches with his tweets.

MF Nemanja Matic, 5 - He appeared to have been asked to shadow Bernardo Silva, but the midfielder escaped to fire a shot past the post early on. It wouldn't surprise me if City win this 5-0, but this is Jose Mourinho, who always turns up in the big games.

Martial, in particular, has been in fine form of late, scoring in his last five appearances for United, including a penalty at the Etihad, but for the most part was unable to replicate the vibrancy of his recent performances. Ederson is probably the best goalkeeper in the world with his feet. To put that into perspective, they had scored nine goals in their previous 10 games combined under the recently-fired Julen Lopetegui.

Jose Mourinho's substitutions did the trick, with Mata and Marouane Fellaini adding a directness to United's attack that Juventus couldn't deal with. However, United's midfield looked short of ideas when they had the ball, with Herrera insisting on playing the easy ball rather than taking a risk.

For the first time in English top-flight history there are three unbeaten teams after 12 matches - Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea. Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling, or Leroy Sané when he came on, played on the shoulder of the defender and used their pace to get in behind.

DF Chris Smalling, 6 - Did not do much wrong defensively but never looked comfortable on the ball, with City seemingly prepared to let him have it.

Ilkay Gundogan finished it off, but the move had taken 42 passes to construct, using every area of the pitch. City will take some stopping this season.

Later, Chelsea missed its chance to go temporarily top, but was held to a goalless draw by improving Everton at Stamford Bridge, while fifth-placed Arsenal escaped in a 1-1 home draw against promoted Wolves.
