Indonesia's search and rescue chief today said divers reported seeing the fuselage and engines of the crashed Lion Air jet on the seafloor.
"We have all the equipment, however God's will says differently", national search and rescue agency head Muhammad Syaugi said at a press conference.
"I'm sure the total will increase", Mr Syaugi said, adding remains were also now washing up on land.
They found one of the plane's black boxes, which record flight data, from the flight Thursday.
Syachrul Anto was part of a diving team searching for body parts from the ill-fated jet, which crashed into the Java Sea on Monday.
The Boeing 737 jet enroute to the city of Pangkal Pinang with 189 people aboard was reported missing Monday morning, and was believed to have crashed 13 minutes after taking off from Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta global airport.
The sea ports were assigned to receive and collect findings from the crashed plane, while the posts at the airports and police hospital would take care of passengers' complaints and identification of bodies from the plane crash.
More than 100 body bags of human remains had been recovered.
The cause of plane crash remains a mystery, as flight tracking websites show the plane experiencing "erratic speed and altitude".
The plane is also reported to have experienced difficulties during a previous flight on Sunday from Bali to Jakarta.
He said weak signals, potentially from the cockpit voice recorder, were traced to a location but an object hadn't been found yet due to deep seabed mud.
While Lion Air said the condition of the aircraft before take-off had nothing to do with the fatal crash, airline safety analysts told AirlineRatings.com the two are "definitely linked".

The 11 Boeing 737 MAX planes comprise one operated by Garuda Indonesia and 10 operated by Lion Air, he said.
A team from the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board including Boeing experts has joined the Indonesian investigation.
