Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh to host wedding reception in Mumbai

On November 21, Deepika and Ranveer will make their first public appearance together after their wedding. "Lots of love, Deepika and Ranveer", read the statement. The couple, who have been together for six years now, have made a decision to get married in an intimate but luxurious affair in Lake Como in Italy. Earlier, Deepika Padukone while leaving for Italy, was reportedly wearing an outfit almost worth Rs 9 Lakh. They're expected to host two receptions- one in Mumbai for industry friends and the other one in Bengaluru, Deepika's hometown.

The pre-wedding festivities began much in advance for the couple.

It is also stated that Ranveer Singh planned his seaplane baaraat a month ago and the plane will first kick-off at the Lake Como and arrive at the Villa Del Balbianello where he'll meet his to-be wife Deepika Padukone. Amit Thakur and Gabriel Georgiou, Padukone's hair stylists shared a picture of the new pair of silver rings they purchased while at the airport, and Karishma Prakash, her manager posted a picture of what their stay in Milan looked like.


This weekend, Deepika and Ranveer, twinning in white, left for Italy. A wedding in accordance with South Indian rituals and another one as per Punjabi traditions. As per a previous media report, mobile phones are strictly not allowed inside the wedding venue. Deepika and Ranveer's Mumbai reception will take place at The Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on November 28, 2018.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding is the talk of the town and everyone wants to know every little detail of this celebrity wedding. They are co-stars of films such as Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and "Padmaavat".
