  • Popular Television writer-director Vinta Nanda accuses THIS Sanskaari actor of sexual misconduct

While she did not name the actor on her post, it was clear that she had accused Alok Nath of raping her. Speaking to ABP News, Mr Nath has said he "neither denies not agrees" with Ms Nanda's account, that someone else must be the rapist, and that there was no point reacting to the abuse allegations because "only what a woman says will be considered.' He also claimed that he 'made (Ms Nanda) what she is" and that dismissed the public shredding of his 'sanskaari' image as 'people will say anything.' "When I woke up the next afternoon, I was in pain". She said, "I was invited to a party to this man's house, his wife, my best friend was out of town. I hadn't just been raped, I was taken to my own house and had been brutalised", Vinta said. Navneet Nishan has finally opened up and extended her support to Nanda, who was the writer and producer of Tara.

It is the escalating voices against sexual harassment across the world as part of the #MeToo wave that gave Nanda the courage to pen down the experiences which had left her "shattered".

Senior TV and Hindi film actor Alok Nath, who was seen in supporting roles in many blockbusters in the 1990s, has been accused of raping a writer named Vinta Nanda. "The man found his way through the casting route and became one of the lead actors on the show". We needed one last shot between them and soon after it had been taken we had planned to let him know that we didn't want to work with him any longer. "All our shows went off air with immediate effect and my production company was made to shut down", she wrote.

"I was producing and writing the No 1 show on TV called Tara".

Nanda also urged people "who have suffered at the hands of predators, to come out and say it aloud". The lady has said that she was raped more than 19 years ago.

The actor also finds it useless to react to such allegations as in today's time whatever a woman says, only that will be considered true and it would be wrong to say anything. "I needed the job and didn't want to leave it as I needed the money".

"He continued to drink till the time he was called for the shot", she added, "When the moment came and the camera rolled, he felt up our female lead and very viciously".
