  • BREAKING Akshay Kumar stalls HOUSEFULL 4 SHOOT Sajid Khan STEPS DOWN as a director

Yesterday evening, three women, namely actor RachelWhite, assistant director Saloni Chopra and journalist Karishma Upadhyay accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment.

As per a report in Bollywood Life, Sajid Khan is likely to be sacked as the film's director.

In her tweets, Amrita Puri appeared to obliquely point to the statements released by Farhan Akhtar and Sajid Khan's sister Farah Khan (who is producing Housefull 4) on Friday.

She also wrote that 'it's been 7 years, and it's about time I said it out loud'.

"Deeply disturbing to hear and read the news of so many women who had to go through these incidents of harassment in various fields".

Amid all this, director Sajid Khan himself stepped down from Housefull 4. He has also added that he won't work with anyone who is proved to be an offender. Malhar Nana Patekar, however, did not elaborate on why the actor chose to step away from the movie.

Rachel White wrote on her Twitter, "I was in a white vest and blue denims and still felt I was standing nude with that gaze". "I can not adequately stress how shocked, disappointed and heartbroken I am to read the stories about Sajid's behaviour".

On Thursday Subhash Ghai, a veteran Bollywood producer and director was accused of sexual assault, with him vehemently denying the claims. He added, "If anyone has wronged even a single woman, neither ADF (Ajay Devgn Films) nor I will stand for it". Tanushree has accused the veteran actor of inappropriately touching her on the sets of 2008 film Horn OK Pleasss. The actress has also approached the Maharashtra State Commission for Women as well as the Deputy Collector under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 to get justice, he said.
