  • Samantha Markle 'turned away' from Kensington Palace after flying to UK to visit half-sister Meghan

Meghan Markle's estranged sister has been turned away from Kensington Palace after demanding a meeting with the royal.

Likewise, a source tells ET that on Oct 1st Samantha and boyfriend Mark Phillips were seen outside Kensington Palace. She was accompanied by her partner, who pushed her in a wheelchair.

"She [Samantha] seemed delighted to see souvenir stands close by selling Royal collectibles and purchased two commemorative Meghan and Harry wedding mugs and cardboard face masks", the source also shared.

In recently released photos, the 53-year-old writer and a male companion hand over a letter to palace security.

But her attempts to meet the Duchess of Sussex face-to-face were stalled when a security guard refusing to let her pass.

Since her visit, Samantha Markle has posted a series of tweets about the trip to London, including a sarcastic post featuring a clip from Monty Python.

Samantha Markle wanted to speak with her sister, Meghan, about the health of their father, Thomas.

During her time in the U.K., Samantha took the opportunity to further the conversation about her sister squabbles in TV interviews, including an impassioned sit-down with journalist, Jeremy Vine, where she went into detail about their volatile situation.

Samantha says she wanted to speak to Meghan, one-on-one, about the ailing health of their father, Thomas.

"I just think that families can be this way when there's confusion and when people are hurt", she added.

"I felt it could've all been nipped in the bud had everyone been included and we all agreed to move forward with positive resolve".

Maybe Samantha showing up at Meghan's home is her way of extending an olive branch, but then again, paparazzi were conveniently there to capture the entire encounter.
