Encouraging conversation about mental health, the campaign use images showing people's most hard thoughts written across their faces, created by Charlie Clift and lettering artist Kate Forrester.

Mental health has never been more important as people within the United States and throughout the world struggle with the current political and economic climate, among a variety of other things.

World Mental Health Day 2018 is set to be held on Wednesday, October 10. "But I truly believe that secrets keep you sick", she said at a fundraiser in California.

The Prime Minister will also say that "parity of care" is a priority of the NHS long-term plan, which will include "record investment" in mental health.

"Instead of treating those facing mental health conditions with the compassion we would offer to someone with a physical injury or illness, we ostracize, blame and condemn", the essay continued, adding that funding to help mental illness around the world is terribly low.

Organised by the District Mental Health Programme, Collector C. Kathiravan flagged off the rally at Kalingarayan Illam in which students and nurses participated.

While the UK's move was welcomed, critics blamed shortfalls affecting mental health services on the government's austerity drive.
