The new centre will more than double the space in the museum dedicated to photography.

On Tuesday, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out for her second engagement since returning from maternity leave, attending the first Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit - which is an initiative to help improve mental health around the world.

Middleton, who returned to her royal duties exactly one week ago to greet school children at a wildlife garden event, looked as stunning as ever for her latest engagement.

Eagle-eyed fans of Kate's style will recognise the frock from her and Prince William's royal tour of Germany and Poland previous year. The Duchess previously wore the dress, named the "Kate", during an appearance in Hamburg, Germany last summer when she and William took a royal tour with children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Kate and William also met with Dairo Vargas, a contemporary fine artist from Columbia, who is creating an original piece of art at the summit, inspired by the day's events.

This time around, Kate swapped out her usual clutch in favour of a sand-colored, crocodile-stamped Mayfair handbag from Aspinal of London, which coordinated with her heels. She paired the ensemble with black velvet pumps, a box clutch and attractive and unique pearl and diamond earrings.

The 10 October marks World Mental Health Day, which Kate, William and Harry have shown an interest in for the past couple of years, as part of their Royal Foundation charity.

The duchess first showed off the Emilia Wickstead dress on a trip to Germany past year.
