Alvaro Morata provided the lone goal in Chelsea's 1-0 win over Vidi in Europa League group-stage action on Thursday.

"It's very important for him to play for the team, like this evening".

He started Chelsea's Premier League wins against Huddersfield and Arsenal, and played the full 90 minutes in victories against Liverpool and PAOK Salonika in the Carabao Cup and the Europa League.

'He is a very important player.

Morata was clearly upset after missing a clear-cut chance in the first half but looked relieved after finding the net in the second half to edge Chelsea past the Hungarian champions.

"I think he has played very well, better than the last period and I think he can restart from this performance".

Sarri said that he is keen for each of his players to have featured in at least one match ahead of the upcoming global break, adding: "Maybe tomorrow it is time to see Loftus I think. Both, Alvaro and Olivier".

Alvaro Morata's goal was the difference and Chelsea hope the Spain striker's confidence is boosted by his second goal of the season.

"At the moment we have Alvaro and Giroud but we have to play every three days for a long time", Sarri said.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has told Ruben Loftus-Cheek that he must get used to the pressure of playing for a club like Chelsea if he is to ever make a consistent impact on the first team. I think it's very important for him to play a very good match. "I am not anxious if we don't score for 45 minutes". "We have to do better in the defensive phase and avoid counter-attacks".

"I want to congratulate our players and say they played very well and made it a very interesting match for the fans, but we missed too many chances for a game like this", he said.
