  • David Luiz has made a solid start to the season under Maurizio Sarri

The highly-anticipated football match will start on Saturday 15th September 2018, at 7:30 pm IST, the match will be played at Chelsea's home stadium, Stamford Bridge.

"Of course [I am open to the idea]".

"He would be a point of reference for me". "But I don't know now the situation". He told me other things, he told me he wants to play.

"It is up to him". "I think this season is too soon, but I hope not".

"We play against a very physical team, if we want to gain points we need a very good performance tomorrow".

The 37-year-old is reported to want to continue playing but Sarri said he would welcome Terry back at Stamford Bridge if he made a decision to pursue a coaching career.

"But I think in the coaching staff, I think". I have to speak with him.

The Chelsea manager gave an affirmative replied when he was asked if he would be open to Terry returning to the team as a coach as well.

But the timing of the fixture makes a damaging setback more likely according to Sarri, who said that he encountered a similar problem during his time in charge of Napoli. "For me, my life is on the pitch with the players".

Speaking to Chelsea's official app, The 5th Stand, Terry said: "Still undecided what I'm doing next". So he will be very important for everybody here.

Emerson Palmieri, Davide Zappacosta (both illness) and Ruben Loftus-Cheek (shin) are doubts.

Apart from a short two-month loan stint at Nottingham Forrest, the 37-year-old remained at the London club for 19 long years until 2017.

"Fabregas now is very well", he said. I think that, in a few days or a week, he'll be ready to play.

"At the moment, I can only see City or Liverpool [winning it], at the moment", he told a media conference.

Sarri has decided on his permanent captain, but will tell his players his decision first, with Cesar Azpilicueta, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and David Luiz all potential skippers.
