How to watch Apple's big iPhone Xs event

  • What’s on Your Apple Radar This Week?

Although Apple has not yet confirmed any of its new products it seems there could be plenty to be excited about. A new gold colour will be available alongside last year's grey and silver.

Rival Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has a few models that cost almost as much as Apple models, but the bulk of its line-up, like that of other phone makers, consists of cheaper models. The 5.8-inch iPhone X replacement has always been known as iPhone XS, but the largest of the threesome has been called either iPhone XS Plus or iPhone XS Max. That would make it one of the largest mass-market phones ever sold and about an inch larger than the screen on the iPhone 8 Plus.

Despite the cost, over 42 percent of current iPhone owners in the United States are planning to upgrade to whatever Apple announces today. An early release of its mobile operating system previous year included the name of its iPhone X before it had been announced.

The third phone, a new low-priced version of the iPhone X, could be the hit of the product roll out.

If you like Apple hardware and are already planning on spending some money to buy new products this year, then tomorrow is going to be a good day. The price is likely to be the same as the current flagship X model's $999, which had shattered consumer standards for how much a high-end phone should cost.

The main thing that you should expect is new iPhones. What may also come along is the Apple Watch Series 4, iPad Pros with Face ID, AirPods 2, and MacBook Air 2. Perhaps Apple will soon learn that YouTube is also a great place to stream live events and attract even more eyeballs.

Korean technology giant Samsung, whose 2018's second-quarter's shipments nosedived by 10.4 per cent, led the market with a 20.9 per cent share in the second quarter, according to International Data Corporation.

"All signs point to Wednesday's event being one of Apple's largest launch announcements in recent years", Mr Bhikha said. iPhones, iPads, MacBooks: What will Apple unveil?
