Google has announced plans to begin permitting certain kinds of cryptocurrency adverts on its platform from October 2018, marking the end to the sweeping bans it placed on the industry.

Back in March, when the ban was introduced, Google said that they have to be cautious with crypto related ads going live because consumers were in danger regarding all kinds of crypto scams and fraudulent ICOs which were on the rise.

Facebook also put a ban on cryptocurrencies in January.

The post went on to offer some additional details, but it remains to be seen how the roll-out will take effect.

Google is going to withdraw its extensive ban on the advertisements related to cryptocurrencies in October according to their new policy.

Starting in October, Google will change its ad policy in a way that is likely to please cryptocurrency enthusiasts. The notice mentions that "This policy will apply globally to all accounts that advertise these financial products". Moreover, ads about "Cryptocurrency trading signals or investment advice; aggregators or affiliate sites containing related content or broker reviews" are also prohibited.

"A good decision by another huge social media app. ICOs advertising should be banned like in every possible place".

Google will allow cryptocurrency ads on its platforms once again.

Will Google and Facebook ad ban reversals improve business dynamics for cryptocurrency and blockchain companies? Alphabet, which is Google's parent company, generates about 86% of its total revenue from advertising.

Tech giants like Google and Facebook loosening the reigns only for regulated exchanges could move things closer to Bakkt's goal of a regulated market.

The renowned Google announced, through its support page, that it will partially eliminate the cryptocurrency ads ban it maintained since earlier this year on Google Ads.

While the policies of the company were updates all over the world, you can only buy ads from the U.

I understand that Facebook and Google are under a lot of pressure to regulate what their users are reading, but they are still advertising gambling websites and other unethical practices.
