In one of the most recent race-related flare-ups, a black former White House employee, Omarosa Manigault Newman, has written in an upcoming memoir that Trump was caught on mic uttering the N-word "multiple times" during the making of his hit reality TV show "The Apprentice" prior to his presidential run, and that there are tapes to prove it. Last month, a similar rally in Portland, Ore.

Saturday's events in Charlottesville precede a planned "white civil rights" rally set for Sunday in Washington, D.C. The demonstration was planned by Jason Kessler, who also organized last year's rally.

Airbnb said it is prepared to ban users who participate in the white supremacist Unite the Right 2 rally in Washington, D.C., this weekend, for violating its community policies.

Trump previous year faced intense backlash when he said "both sides" were culpable for the events in Charlottesville, which ended when a man with alleged neo-Nazi ties drove his vehicle into a crowd of counter-protesters, killing local resident Heather Heyer and dozens of others.

With any other President, such explosive allegations in two separate upcoming books might have shaken the White House - even torpedoed the Presidency.

The tweet's language was similar to his first response to the tragedy a year ago, after neo-Nazis, Klansman, and other racists descended on the small Virginia, which resulted in one woman's death after a Nazi sympathizer rammed his auto into a crowd of people. Kessler initially wanted to return to Charlottesville, but the city denied his request, so he headed to the nation's capital.

Charlottesville officials said that as of 4:30 p.m. on Saturday three men were arrested "inside and in proximity to the security area in downtown Charlottesville".

Mayor Muriel Bowser and Metropolitan Police Chief Peter Newsham have called press conferences, in July and August, addressing community concerns.

The NSM, a white supremacy group with headquarters in Detroit, came to Newnan for a rally in April.

"We draw a line at giving special accommodations to hate groups and hate speech", Local 689 President Jackie Jeter said in a statement. The group took part in last year's Unite the Right rally, but has not announced plans regarding Sunday's rally in Washington, D.C. A second permit for a counter-protest was also issued. "We want to be in the streets before they get there".

"We have a lot of folks in organizing here who were present for the murder of the young woman a year ago", Lance said. Other volunteers will help move crowds along to avoid unnecessary arrests. Soon after though, he said that while there were bad people in the white supremacist group, "you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides". "I will never stop fighting for ALL Americans!".

Trump has retweeted white nationalist material; said Mexicans crossing the United States border are rapists and drug dealers; once referred to a Hispanic Miss Universe as "Miss Housekeeping", and employed Steve Bannon, central figure of the new "alt-right" in America, as his campaign chief and top strategist for a time. "We'll certainly be in the thousands".
