Omarosa Reportedly Has Secret Recordings of Donald Trump on Her Cell Phone

  • Omarosa book paints Trump as racist and repeats claim there are tapes of President using N-word on ‘Apprentice’ set

Donald Trump is a "racist" who regularly used the "N-word" on the set of "The Apprentice", claims Omarosa Manigault Newman, who starred on the show and then followed the president to the White House.

"It's sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks, and even worse that the media will now give her a platform, after not taking her seriously when she had only positive things to say about the President during her time in the administration", Sanders continued.

Manigault Newman writes in the book, according to the Guardian, that in late 2016 Trump's team held a conference call to discuss possible responses should the tape be made public. After at least 12 audio recordings were seized from the office of Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen, the "Omarosa tapes" are the new hot-ticket surveillance cache-but unlike Cohen, Manigault Newman still has possession of her cell phone recordings, and she's supposedly using them to shop around her book, Unhinged, about her former boss.

According to the Guardian website, which says it obtained a copy of Manigault Newman's memoir prior to its August 14 publication date, the former Apprentice contestant and later White House communications staffer writes in Unhinged that while she did not personally hear Trump use the N-word she cites three sources who described the contents of the tape.

Newman met Trump in 2004, when she was a contestant on the first season of The Apprentice.

Manigault-Newman quotes Trump as saying: "Would you look at this George Conway article?" That was in November; by December, Manigault Newman was out of the Trump fold.

She wrote that she worked to get a copy of it and that is why she was sacked from the White House. "It's absurd all around".

The Washington Post also reported Friday that another passage claims she was offered $15,000 a month from Trump's campaign to stay quiet after her firing - but she refused.
