  • Omarosa Manigault-Newman then an aide to President Donald Trump watches during a meeting with parents and teachers in the Roosevelt Room of the White House in Washington. The White House is slamming a new book

This is just one of a list of claims made by Omarosa Manigault Newman in a book lifting the lid on her former boss that threatens to reduce what's left of Trump's reputation to tatters - and could even destroy his presidency. It was a highly unusual admission, which immediately drew fire from allies of the president.

Manigault Newman also claims Trump repeatedly uses the racially offensive N-word, including on an occasion when he was taped, and has threatened to reveal the names of illegitimate children he has allegedly fathered.

Elsewhere in the interview, Manigault Newman said she was "complicit with this White House deceiving this nation", and that she was "totally complicit" in aiding the President blame both white nationalists and anti-racist protesters for the violence in Charlottesville a year ago. "But I will say this to you, I was complicit with this White House deceiving this nation", and suggested that it's still happening. She was reportedly fired by White House chief of staff John Kelly for abusing her position and had to be physically removed from the premises.

The Situation Room is a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility, or SCIF, and staff are not permitted to bring in cell phones or other recording devices. The White House Situation Room is one of the most secure locations on the planet.

Manigault Newman didn't resign her position in the White House after Charlottesville, though, instead staying on for several months before being fired in December of past year.

Said Omarosa: "It's very obvious...he goes on to say that things can get ugly for you..."

The White House has already slammed the book as "riddled with lies and false accusations".

Manigault's book Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House will be released this Tuesday.

President Trump took a swipe at onetime aide Omarosa Manigault Newman as he mingled with motorcycle-riding supporters during a rainy afternoon at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J.

"I have to protect myself and I have no regret about it", Omarosa said on NBC's "Meet the Press".

"Being used by Donald Trump for so long, I was like the frog in the hot water". Trump blamed the violence on "many sides", rather than condemning the white supremacists who were protesting. She also described him as a man who "loved conflict, chaos and confusion; he loved seeing people argue or fight".
