This summer has already seen some mega-deals take place regarding Premier League clubs with Riyad Mahrez moving from Leicester City to Manchester City for a huge £67m, whilst Naby Keita joined Liverpool for £62m in a deal that was agreed on last summer.
But Liverpool have won the last four meetings between the two sides, albeit only one of those was in the Premier League.
"So I will have to focus on the players I have and in relation to these first couple of matches - maybe three matches because after Spurs (and Burnley on August 27 and September 1 respectively) there is (a) national team (break) and a couple of weeks to recover people and prepare people better".
Goals were clearly not a problem for Liverpool last season and while Salah, Mane and Firmino will lead the charge once again, Daniel Sturridge appears to be back to somewhere near full fitness and young Ben Woodburn will continue to develop.

I don't think just because they haven't signed a centre-back we should be sat here thinking "We'll let Manchester United off the hook, they shouldn't be challenging this year". "We have to try and get the best out of every player". That's an obscene amount of talent. Obscene. In midfield, they've got Matic, Fred and Pogba. The way in which United are being talked about this pre-season, it's as if they've got a load of bums playing for them.

They certainly seem very unsure of the players he has brought in before - [Eric] Bailly, [Victor] Lindelof. In the campaign prior to that, United made complete mincemeat of their opponents by beating them 4-1.
