You can find out which games FastStart works with here.

At any rate, if you want to try FastStart for yourself, it's available today as part of Microsoft's July Xbox Update.

By now, most people will have received the latest system update for their Xbox One. Microsoft is partially solving this problem today with FastStart, an Xbox One feature that prioritizes critical game files to let you play "select" games while they download in the background.

The catch is that the feature is only available right now on certain English-language titles in the Game Pass catalog. You can assign names, organize and order the items in Groups, and you can sync them with your Microsoft Account across all your Xbox Consoles. With Groups, you can create multiple collections of content made up of anything from within My Games & Apps.

According to the FastStart FAQ, the download times (at least until the playable threshold) for games with the feature enabled are about half of what they would be normally. Instead of waiting for the entire game to download, FastStart allows you to start playing the game as soon as possible by prioritzing the download of files and assets that are needed to begin playing. More Search OptionsPlayers can now press the Y button while in the dashboard to bring up the search box. We've started you off with a Group that should look very familiar - your Pins! You will be able to see a full list of supported titles here, though it hadn't been updated at the time this article was being written.

With the July Update, Microsoft is making it easier to search on your Xbox. In addition to an overall quality of life update for the service, improving stability, mouse and keyboard and multi-touch support have been added to to Mixer's Share Controller.

Finally, Mixers broadcasting using their webcam now have the option of a full screen mode, which mutes game audio allowing you to easily have a natter with your audience.
