The autobiography is billed as "perhaps the biggest, most dramatic and honest star memoir to emerge out of Bollywood".

It's nearly like Paresh Rawal was destined to play legendary actor Sunil Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju and had the late actor's blessing.

Commenting on the book, Dutt said, "I have had the fortune of living a remarkable life, full of ups and downs, joys and sorrows".

The Sanjay Dutt biopic is the reason why the money boxes at the theatres are jingling. In a conversation with Indian Express, Paresh Rawal revealed that he had received a letter from Sunil Dutt wishing him a very happy birthday just hours before he breathed his last. "I am looking forward so much to sharing my memories and emotions with readers everywhere", IANS quoted Sanjay Dutt as saying.

The memoir will release next year on the Vaastav actor's 60th birthday on July 29, 2019. Dutt, however, discredited the book by releasing an official statement. Ranbir Kapoor told that he wanted to do five more films with Rajkumar Hirani and commented that he is planning to do a movie with the director soon. "Ranbir Kapoor, slipping into the skin of the troubled Bollywood star, pulls out the stops in astonishingly effective ways, subsuming his own personality completely into that of the protagonist". As the film continues to garner appreciation from the audience, film critics and Bollywood celebrities along with smash records at the box office, the makers of the film have revealed an interesting detail about the film which suggests that Paresh Rawal was destined to play Sunil Dutt in the film.

The film also featured Paresh Rawal Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma.
