Oscar-winning actress Linda Hunt was involved in a serious auto accident on Monday in Los Angeles, ET can confirm.

Los Angeles star was reportedly driving a black BMW in Hollywood on Monday when she tried to make a left turn, and eyewitnesses have told TMZ.com that the 73-year-old struck a sedan before colliding with a Honda sports utility vehicle (SUV). Hunt was visibly shaken, and witnesses escorted her to a lawn chair on the sidewalk.
