Milwaukee Bucks Forward Jabari Parker Hosts Pickup Game In Local Park

  • Milwaukee forward Jabari Parker and the Bulls are reportedly closing in on a deal to bring the 6-foot-8 forward back home to Chicago. More

The good news for Parker is that the restricted free agent market for a ton of players has been awfully slow, so his patience might be rewarded.

Fans in the area flocked to the court and Parker played in some pick-up games with those that showed up.

Parker was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2014 National Basketball Association draft, though has suffered two ACL tears to his left knee already in his career.

Jabari Parker has interest in signing with the Chicago Bulls.

Their roster could use help at small forward too, considering the lineup most often used by Chicago featured Denzel Valentine at small forward. The Bulls don't yet know if they're signing Parker to a deal as an unrestricted free agent or to an offer sheet as a restricted free agent. Last season, he returned to action after a lengthy recovery period from his second ACL injury and put up 12.6 points and 4.9 rebounds in 31 games for the Bucks.

Parker is from Chicago and the Bulls are one of the only teams with cap space.
