The arguments are said to have led the couple to call off their wedding, however, no confirmation has come from either Miley or Liam's team.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth for comment.

Hours ago, it was reported that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may have split up and ended their engagement, though nothing was confirmed. "He is left heartbroken". "They haven't been getting along in recent months." the source said. This bumpy relationship began back in 2009 when the two met on the set of The Last Song, the Nicholas Sparks film in which they both starred.

Liam posted a video to his Instagram Story on Thursday (July 19) of him and Miley dancing in their vehicle.

Speculation and concern about the state of their relationship comes after Cyrus deleted all the content on her Instagram feed and blacked out her profile picture.

The source continued on to tell the tabloid: " [Miley] didn't really want to get married. "It's something that everyone else seemed to get but Liam", the source noted. [His] family had been begging him to see the light for a long time, but he had faith in Miley.

The celebrity couple first got together in 2010 and announced their engagement in 2012, only for the pair to call things off less than a year later in 2013. Now he feels like an idiot, ' says an insider. "It's like September 2013 all over again", lamented one fan on social media, referencing the couple's broken engagement announcement almost five years ago. But fan accounts claim the pair are still very much together- at least physically - as they were spotted flying into Nashville (Miley has a home nearby) on July 18. But if they are broken up, let's take this time to pay our respects to what was once one of young Hollywood's most cherished couples.
