At least four boys who have been trapped inside a Thai cave for 15 days have been evacuated, according to a Thai Navy SEAL, as authorities race against time to free the remaining boys and their soccer coach who have been underground for more than two weeks.

The former Thai navy Seal succumbed to lack of oxygen while delivering supplies.

In a post on Jul 7, a day after his death, she said: "You'll always be with me. there's no one like you. if you're not with me, I don't want to go on breathing. because we promised each other we would use the same breathe".

"He's been praised as a hero because of who he was", she said.

But there was one casualty - a former Thai Navy SEAL who died after entering the cave to lay oxygen tanks along the exit route. "He loved doing charity work and getting things done".

Saman was part of a rescue team made up of divers from some 50 countries, including Australia.

His widow, Waleeporn Gunan, told the BBC she was proud of her "hero" husband.

The video shows several of the "Wild Boars" football team in hospital, after being rescued from the Tham Luang cave in northern Thailand in a three-day operation which ended successfully on Tuesday.

We do not have details about their exact condition, but this extraordinary rescue mission now appears to have come to an end. The BBC reported the funeral was held at a temple in the north-east province of Roi Et. "I love you like you're my very heart".

Waleeporn said pride in her husband's actions was helping her with her grief. Diver had previously spoken about death " Saman once said we never knew when we would die.

Jubilant Acting Chiang Rai Governor Narongsak Ostanakorn thanked the Thai people and the government their support after the successful Thai cave rescue.
