Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Battle Royale beta coming September

16 July, 2018, 05:30 | Author: Rafael Roberts
  • Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 multiplayer beta start dates revealed

The upcoming next installment of the Call of Duty series will have two different beta events during the following months. On the PC, anyone with a Battle.net account will be able to play the beta, but those who pre-order the game will get one day of early access to the beta on August 10th.

The multiplayer beta kicks off August 3 and ends on all platforms by August 11.

We don't have an exact date yet for the private beta, but we do know it's on the way after the multiplayer fans get their run testing the servers.

As for the Private Blackout Beta, more information will be released soon. Not only does the PS4 beta offer earlier access to Black Ops 4, but also more days with which to get acquainted with the game, too.

The first Private Multiplayer beta is getting an exclusive release on PS4 on August 3. You'll be registered automatically if you buy it digitally but with physical copies the beta key is only available through certain retailers. Today Activision and Treyarch have finally announced this news, but not without an added surprise. The beta will include six maps and five modes including Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint and the brand new Control mode.

In Control, teams alternate rounds between attacking and defending two static objectives. Each team has a limited number of lives in this first-to-three wins match-up.

Treyarch is bringing back Call of Duty's Pick 10 system for allowing players to customize the classes they create. Additional details about the test will be shared closer to September. For Xbox One and PC players, the private beta will kick off the following weekend.

Last but not least, Blackout (Black Ops take on battle royale) will have its own Beta coming in September, first on PS4, with more details to come.
