National Basketball Association title odds hint at LeBron’s next team

  • LeBron James

He was also considered the best during his two titles in Miami, when he had Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh as teammates.

"I mean, I have no idea at this point", James said later.

It was on June 25th that James opted out of his contract with the Heat to hit unrestricted free agency.

James' choice will shape the rest of free agency for the entire league, but no team's future is more in doubt than Cleveland's.

"I hope he stays".

But when it comes down to it, he also knows there will be one final decision-maker.

At the moment the list of suitors is limited, but it could grow before July as teams position themselves to acquire one of the game's most transcendent forces. "I just appreciate what he's done for us this season".

James slapped high-fives and wore a look that said more than the season is over for him.

"If Paul stays with the Rockets, Houston becomes a risky player, no matter how complicated it would be for the 65-win Rockets and their general manager, Daryl Morey, to orchestrate the requisite salary-cap gymnastics to bring James in".

"Anything is possible", Love said. "Then it ultimately will come down to me". But I like to be here.

"The one thing that I've always done is consider my family, understanding especially where my boys are at this point in their age", James said. "Always wanted to win here".

The Warriors will win another championship - Death, taxes and the Warriors will reach the Finals.

LeBron is, of course, the main man in Cleveland, while Durant plays alongside a superteam of Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson.

But there is history with the Cavaliers, who won the 2016 championship with James leading the way. But even if a team takes the bait and sends a high-level player back to Cleveland, it still might not be enough for James to choose his hometown squad over a more attractive destination. "Honestly, I think we'll all remember that".

The possibility remains that Cleveland could retool and make another run, but doing so would require some serious creativity.

With the 2017-18 National Basketball Association season in the books (congratulations to the Warriors on winning an impressive but inspiring championship over LeBron James and four other guys), the 2018-19 season pretty much starts right now. The Trail Blazers have a great guard duo in CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard, but it needs another option to topple the likes of Golden State and Houston.

So is this end in Cleveland? I got a teenage boy, a pre-teen and a little girl right now that wasn't around as well.
