According to the leak, the next Samsung smartwatch will have a much larger battery than the S3 - a almost 24 percent bigger battery.
Samsung's planning some important updates for the Galaxy Note 9. A different report claimed Samsung's new supersized phone will have a supersized battery, while a third rumor has seemingly shed light on the new color options Samsung reportedly cooked up for the Galaxy Note 9. The device will have a 6-inch screen and in-display fingerprint scanner.
But that's not all.
The Note 9 is rumored to have a 4,000mAh battery, according to mobile tipster Ice Universe (via SamMobile). That, coupled with a microSD card, could push the smartphone's total storage to 1TB. Its battery obliterates many rival Android phones, such as the Sony Xperia XZ2's 3,180 mAh battery and HTC U12+'s 3,500 mAh battery, as well as its own predecessor, the Note 8, which only sported a 3,300mAh unit. That would make the Galaxy Note 9 the first Samsung smartphone to ship with such a enormous battery. That is, unless Samsung goes out of its way to assuage those potential fears when it announces the Galaxy Note 9 later this year. And just in case that wasn't enough, Samsung is also increasing the size on its front-facing camera to have a much larger sensor, Forbes is reporting.
This new phablet is thought to include an improved screen, better camera and upgraded S Pen stylus.
A separate analyst at Shinhan Financial says that "parts affiliates and first-tier subcontractors will begin supplying parts to Samsung Electronics' handset division beginning in November, at the earliest, with the company assembling the phone aiming for a launch next year". The Galaxy Note 7 featured a 3500mAh battery (that exploded) and the Note 8 dropped down to 3300mAh, likely as a precautionary change.
A new leak suggests that the upcoming Samsung Gear S4 could have a larger battery than the S3.
