The latest Monster Hunter: World crossover will see Final Fantasy 14's Behemoth come to the game, so good luck with that fight.

Final Fantasy XIV launched in 2010, but players and critics lamented its lack of content and poor gameplay. At first, it seemed like the only announcement we would see was a teaser for the recently-released Patch 4.3 - dubbed Under the Moonlight.

The trailer depicts a Rathian flying into the Final Fantasy XIV world, alongside a Palico that presumably can accompany players as a pet.

Video game stories from other sites on the web. The Final Fantasy XIV update, titled Under the Moonlight, will bring with it brand new quests as a new update to 2017's Stormblood expansion.

According to Square Enix, some requirements need to be met before you can experience the crossover event.

Square Enix offered a brief look at a forthcoming update.

Final Fantasy XIV is available on PlayStation 4 and PC. One prize that appears to be up for grabs is a new emote that mimics the motions hunters make when drinking a potion in Monster Hunter: World, as was demonstrated by a group of players at the end of the trailer.
